Nomination Papers of Manzoor Wassan rejected by Election Tribunal

Sukkur (Web Desk) Election Tribunal Sukkur Judge Faheem Ahmed Siddiqi has rejected the nomination papers of Pakistan Peoples Party candidate for PS-27 (Khairpur-II) former provincial minister of industries Manzoor Wassan on the plea of objections filed by Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) candidate Mir Zaheer Talpur contesting for the same seat.
In the objections filed against Mr Wassan, known as the ‘king of dreams’, Mir Zaheer stated that he did not declare his 25 per cent shares in a company of Dubai while he remained manager of the said company from 2012 to 2016. He also did not declare the salaries which he received from the company, according to the objections.
In this regard, Mr Wassan has said that he could not understand as to why his nomination papers were rejected, although he declared all his assets in the nomination papers. He said he would go to the high court against the decision of the Election Tribunal Sukkur.
