Sahiwal (Web Desk) Four people were killed and two children injured on Saturday as Counter-Terrorism Department officials allegedly fired at a car on GT Road.
Police claimed that the deceased were kidnappers and “three children were recovered” in the operation near a petrol pump on GT Road. “Four people have been killed and two children have been injured in the firing,” police said.
However, eyewitnesses said the children while speaking to them at the petrol station claimed that the “police has killed their parents”. “Following the firing incident, the police left the children at the petrol station where they spoke to us. A few minutes later, however, CTD officials returned and took the children with them to an undisclosed location,” the eyewitnesses added.
Meanwhile, DPO Sahiwal did not comment on the incident and said, “The CTD conducted the raid and can share details.”
